Navacek Picks...........

Redskins (3-1) at Eagles (1-2)
There's three teams this season that are earning respect around the league: the Colts, Vikings and Redskins. Washington looks like a much better team in Steve Spurrier's second season. The run the ball well, and they certainly pass well. They've proven that Spurrier knows what he's doing, after all.
The Redskins are playing well this season, week in and week out. They haven't been blown out, they don't give up. Those elements point toward a Washington win.
The Eagles played much better defensively against the Bills last week. They'll have to do more of that to stop Laveraneus Coles and the Redskins' offense, and I don't think they're ready to play consistently enough to do that.
Pick: Redskins.
I concur!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH man! I hate to see this! Maybe because over the last few years the critics are always against us and I got used to that. Proving them wrong is fun. But I don't like hearing we are favored by anyone. Being the underdog makes us fight harder! Is this the general concensus? I saw JB on Comcast Sports Net last night saying the Eagles were his pick. I was hoping everyone would go with them. Oh well! We can win even being favorites I guess.
Go Skins!

Hold up James Brown from Fox??? He is a die hard Redskins fan he lives right down the street. Terry Bradshaw teased him during some of our loses last year

Don't ask me! I asked my husband and he definitely said it! I was not imagining it, though neither of us can remember his reasoning. Should we go knock on his door Redskincity???? LOL

For us long-die-hard left coast fans...this is so AWSOME! Finally, when I walk into my weekend sports bar to watch my team (with my old Riggins shirt of course) I don't get laughed at, or geered.
This is definitely a big week for us, and I need this win badly. PRIDE, RESPECT AND DIVISION LEAD...GO SKINS.
Hail Arrington

Niki - he is getting shellacked early
Seriously, I hate having to find Skins games when I travel - I was in Jersey once and asked to turn 1 of I think 22 tvs to the Skins game - I thought I was going to be murdered right there.

I myself cannot watch Redskin's games in public. I'm very loud. I think the borrowed seats we had for Sunday's game we will never see again. LOL I don't play nice with Pats fans, Cowboy Fans, Eagles Fans............ LOL Hats off to you mark, I could not be surrounded by Charger Fans while the Skins game was on!!

No Niki, it's even worse. I am constantly surrounded by RAIDER fans...*sh$t*!! Those bozos get drunk so fast that by the end of the 1st quarter they start tossing F-bombs at every missed pass or tackle.
We Skins fans (a small cadre of eight) have had the same TV set (one of ten) reserved for over six years now. And those damed Raider fans were always giving us crap for our lousy teams. It was tough, we never had enough Juice to get back at them during these years...oh, but times are'a changing...and fast.

According to the betting lines, we are still underdogs @ 5 1/2 points. I personally like being underdog, I think it brings the best out of are team, but if and I pray that we do, beat Philthadelphia this Sunday, the underdog status is going to start disappering, I still feel no matter what, they will have us underdogs against the Bucs. Which might be a good thing, we will have to see after Sundays game. Stop McNabb and you stop the Eagles, we will have to blitz more and get some major pressure on him, to beat him.

I think we can handle stopping McNabb. It seems everyone on ESPN this morning things McNabb is the best thing since sliced bread. I like hearing that. That gives our guys more reason to come out swingin'. I'm with you though, I'm hoping if we beat them we don't stop being the underdogs. We do well being the underdogs!
And Mark I have to ask how you became a Redskin's fan way over there in Southern CA?? Thanks for being a die hard though, we need more fans willing to do what you do!

I'm ready to stop being the underdogs. We've been the underdogs for ages. Probably since the bucs booted us out of the playoffs.
I agree I want to be the U-dog this weekend. And we most certainly will the next weekend but as for the rest of the games I won't have a problem being favored.
Soon we may see one of those Gibbs style +12 1/2 lines if we keep this up.

Amen woohit56. It would be great to get back to the glory days - and we will.
For now, I love it when everyone picks against us. I actually (for the first time in awhile) feel we have the team to beat the odds.
For years we were the underdogs and for good reason - we never proved the skeptics wrong.
Now we have the chance.
