He couldn't beat trinidad and he is not going to beat Hopkins. I like De La Hoya, but IMHO he made a mistake with this one.

I say Oscar because an De La Hoya "upset" win means a (most likely) mandatory rematch with Hopkins. Hopkins has said he wants to make money, and De la Hoya is his cash cow. Two fights? By the end, Hopkins will have made more money combined than throughout his career, and may well end up with his belt back.

Hopkins isn't undefeated, is he?

Boxing is so corrupt, this scenario may well play out.

Dela hoe yaH did not look good his last fight. He lost that fight and the judgses gave it to him because of the blockbuster fight between him and my man Hopkins.

Dela will bleed in this fight.

True, but the scenario I explained before is quite possible and not far-fetched, considering the way Oscar stole that last fight away.

How did Oscar steal that fight??????????

He was hit more times with regular punches and power shots.

The guy beat him in all rounds except 6 and 8.

Oscar was not happy with the win.

The commentators were like wow. Jim even said, "Well its happen to Oscar."

The crowd who supported Oscar at first were even BOOOOOOOOOOING!!!! at the end.

Cmon Man

"Stole", as in "robbed", not as in "stole the show". He didn't deserve to win.

Sorry. My English is a bit rusty these days.

No, we don't. [-X

I think there will be a controversial ending which will set the stage for a rematch, more money for both fighters, and fans duped outta more money. I think Hopkins is the superior fighter in his weight class (not de la Hoya's normal weight), but Oscar is the cash cow. Oscar will not "lose" the fight, IMO. He, and NOT Bernard, make this a prize fight.
