AGAIN, D-LINE AN ISSUE!

Love where we're at, dont get me wrong, but our D-line has got to put more pressure on the QB. On so many occasions, Brady had way too much time to look off his 2nd and 3rd options. And were it not for our awsome DBs, we would have been toast.
The run defense looked a little suspect too. Now, I'm not complaining about our record, but I want perfection in all phases of the game.
I see some tough match-ups comming up so we need to be as balanced as possible.
Hail Arrington.

Agreed for the most part.
Thought NE did an excellent job picking up our blitzes - especially second half. Have to give their line credit.

Where the hell is Ladarius Jackson? He put on the pressure more than anyone last year. We need him in the games!!!

It's tough to complain too much at 3-1 but I agree that if we don't find a way to fix some holes the Tampa game will be impossible to win.
I have to say these guys are finally gel-ing on both sides of the ball. I hope to see this continue the next few weeks. This time last year most of us would have been thanking the football God's to have the chemistry on the O side of the ball so I guess we'll see in Philly on Sunday.

We will have to deal with this line issue, so the offense has to help out.

I actually thought the d-line had a good game despite the lack of pass rush (as always). I thought we played some good run defense, and I thought Peppi Zellner and Regan Upshaw both played their best game to date as Redskins. Bruce didn't get through, but he got near a lot, and had a few good whacks at Brady. Wynn made some good plays too, it's rare to even hear his name in a game it seems.
I thought the biggest absence in our defense this week... Lavar... hardly did anything. He had 5 tackles but the Patriots said they'd been studying all week and they did a good job of taming the monster. Which of course opened things up for other guys, but nevertheless, his name was scarcely heard.
Where is L. Jackson????
Good question.

I agree Boss, but I have one question for everyone? What do you consider a pass rush - a sack or pressure?
I have always considered a pass rush to be a bending of the pocket that makes the QB feel the presence of the defender and rush his throws. Anything above that is also, of course, pass rush.
I mean, heck, a good pressure will cause turnovers sometimes, where teams can recover from sacks, unless they are on 3rd down. Even so, a sack allows a punt where the pressure can also cause fumbles.
I guess it is like me and Boss disagreeing to be happy about the 3-1. I still see stuff to improve, he isn't as critical. Diff of opinion I suppose.

When the opposing QB is sitting in the pocket for 10 sec that is unacceptable. I never thought I would say this but Bruce needs to Ride the bench
