Just wondering did anyone see this movie on HBO and what did you think.

I saw it. I thought it was pretty good. But Mos Def and Gabrielle Union didn't look like a couple of old people AT ALL when he received his honor. That was a little fishy. The old, white guy had a strange voice and I couldn't tell whether he was in a good mood or a bad mood.

i haven't seen it, the title scares me.

Well Jake since you seen it and you have a young and untainted mind. Do you think it was right for the doctor to hold Mos def back and so close to him for all those years.

A coworker of mines who is white was very upset that he did that. I (a handsome black guy) tried to tell him that the doctor did the right thing, because the world would not have accepted Vivian (Mos Def) during that timeline.

I think it was wrong that he held him back without telling anybody. Because he did most of the work and the operation wouldn't have been completed without him.

But a reason that he wasn't included in any function incvolcving the other doctors was because he wasn't a REAL doctor. But it still sucked to see him not included in the Time Magazine photo shoot.

At least he got his portrait on the walls of Johns Hopkins. He did deserve a little more than that.

On a side note, Gabrielle Union palyed the hottest old woman I've ever seen. [/list]
