Maybe its just a focus problem...Poor game day preparation

You notice how the penalties are worse in the first half and then they settle down? Maybe Spurrier is just not getting them focussed in time for the game. Its like they need halftime to get them to focus.
A friend of mine just mentioned he has this problem with coaching kids. Often then need a half before they really get their minds into the game. I wonder if Spurrier played with the pregame routine some...
