I just read that the jumping skills used by some receivers. (Gardner) will be toned down. Before all you had to do was lob it and Gardner would do a 53 inch verticle leap over the cornerback.

In this edition the verticle leap will be changed from about 53" to about 35".

Other than the updated rosters, I have not yet seen a good reason to upgrade from 2004.

I feel ya, brother....but I am sick and tired of hearing "Steve Spurrier...coach of the Redskins" in 2004. It'll be worth the $$$ to me just to hear Joe Gibbs' name on the sidelines.

Yeah, good point Justice. Maybe I'll have to cough up the cash after all. Hey, if Sean Taylor isn't signed by the time Madden 2005 is released, will he still be in a Redskins uniform in the game?

Yeah. They did the same thing with Brian McKenie (I probably spelled his name wrong) of the Vikings.

He was in Madden 03

I think you'll change your tune after reading this article.

(Gardner) will be toned down.

Who cares, its not like he'll catch the ball anyway. If its in the game its in Madden. Gardeners catching skills sadly have carried over.
