Grenada, a stable democracy, is led by a huge sports fan, Prime Minister Keith Mitchell, 57, who is a former math professor at Howard University as well as a former captain of the national cricket team, a bowler with a mean googlie (a spinning, swerving pitch in cricket parlance). He's also a rabid Washington Redskins fan, so much so that after team owner Daniel Snyder's last vacation to this beautiful island, Snyder sent the prime minister a full Redskins uniform, pads and all. That's cool! So the fact still stands... the Redskins have the biggest fanbase WORLDWIDE... moreso than any other sports franchise... even more than the Yankees, Real Madrid, Dallas, etc.

The sad thing is that there are barely any Skins fans in my school at all. :(

Also ironic is that the guy's name is Keith Mitchell... an American name... and the name of a former NFL linebacker who recently left the league after playing for the Saints and Jaguars.

There is even representation in my home nation of El Salvador. I gave my uncle a Limited Edition bag of Redskins 70th Annivesary Coffee, when he came to visit in 2002. :D

No child left behind refers to letting kids with sub-par grades (from sub-par standards) roll on to the next year of school so they don't feel bad about themselves for being held back. :(
