Sorry to post from another board. I was curious to see what Browns fans thought of KW2. Here's an excerpt from their chat. I'm soooooo glad (once again) that we didn't draft him. Here's a link to the whole forum and it also gives more reason why the Poston bros are nuts. http://forums.football.com/vbulletin/ar ... php/t-6071

Browns Ready For A Winslow Holdout

Less than 48 hours from being officially named a Cleveland Brown TE Kellen Winslow and his agent is already prepared to hold out of training camp if he does not get the money they feel he deserves. Sources have told Pro Football Central that the Cleveland Browns are so nervous about a holdout that when Winslow was called seconds before being drafted, coach Butch Davis stressed to him how important it was not to holdout. The agent for Winslow Kevin Poston has already told Browns management that his client deserves to be one of the highest paid tight ends in the NFL despite only being a rookie. Last year's No. 6 pick, Georgia defensive tackle Johnathan Sullivan, who went to New Orleans, received a seven-year deal worth $19.1 million, including an $11.4 million signing bonus but his agent is Lenford Rowe and not Kevin Poston.

Man, am I glad we passed on this MORON and his mentally deranged agent! These guys are I - N - S - A - N - E !!!

Not even a day after he got drafted and the crap starts. This stuff pisses me off and I'm not even a Browns fan, lol. What a bunch of idiots, I'm glad we have nothing to do with them.

Hey Winslow! You're a freakin rookie! Which means you haven't done a thing yet in the NFL!

This is a reason I didn't want us to draft Winslow.

Come on SkinsFan55... admit it, you were worried about this, too.

This should be in either the College Football or the Around the League forum.

lol, i love it. it's so funny to hear all this stuff. i talk about it all the time with people that know him also, and we just laugh cause none of us really thought anything different was going to happen. i still hang out with people that went to high school with him and they try to defend him, but they can't...i have a buddy that plays for cleveland and he says a lot of guys on the team are pissed.

Well we don't have to worry about his futile attempts at getting back at Gibbs if he's holding out!

Congratulations K-2!!! WOOOOOOOHOOO!!

They say he should be paid like he was drafted #1 so who knows
they'er losing clients with equals money so they'll try to make it up some where

BUCKLEY PARTS WITH POSTONS

He was one of their first clients in 1992. Twelve years later, Terrell Buckley has parted ways with Carl and Kevin Poston.

The Boston Globe reports that Buckley has negotiated on his own a contract with the Patriots, working out a one-year deal for $760,000 and avoiding $22,600 in agent fees.
