DallasCowboys.com reports Dallas Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells hinted that the Philadelphia Eagles may have strong interest in former Eagles LB Jeremiah Trotter (Redskins), who will likely be released by the Washington Redskins after June 1. "I hear they're (Eagles) going to get (Jeremiah) Trotter back if they haven't already, and will put him in the middle," Parcells said.
You think the Tuna is tryin' to stir somethin' up?

who can really trust anything that comes from the Tuna??
and when did he and Andy Reid become chums??? No fish punn intended...
I don't care where trotter goes, he can go be slow and not make tackles for someone else, because he has been a major disappointment as a redskin...
But with our DT's is it his fault??

I for one want Trotter out of our division and don't want him taking out his sour grapes on us twice a season.

Why? Did Trotter ever take out his sour grapes on the Eagles when he was with us? I don't see it as a problem. The Tuna might have made this statement in hopes of forcing the Eagles to to give a draft pick. Otherwise the Skins could say, hey, the Lions will give us a 7th round pick for him. I don't know, maybe his contract is too big for that kind of interest.

I don't care where he plays. He can misread and whif on tackles for any other team. Plus, he's making waaaaaaay too much money. Let him take his attitude to Philly or Dallas - he might cost them some games and disrupt their locker room, even more than he did here.

Im 100 percent positive the Eagles will not get Trotter. I live here in Philly and the eagles have no interest in him what so ever. Trotter also left on a bad note.

maybe ya'll saw something different than I did with Trotter, and perhaps he was missing assignments in last year's scheme, but I thought he played pretty well and will continue to recover from injury and return to his former self
obviously the coaching staff knows more and have studied it more and knows differently or at least doesn't feel he fits our new scheme

It will never, ever happen. You don't threaten the life of the head bean counter and expect that team to bring you back in.

That would be great if he went to Dallas or the Eagles we would get to see him twice a year. That would be two wins plus the Giants. We would have only one team to deal with.

Despite recent reports that middle linebacker Jeremiah Trotter will sign with the Eagles after he is released by the Washington Redskins next month, don't look for the veteran to be headed back to Philadelphia for a second stint. Most fans will recall that Trotter signed with Washington in 2002 after the Eagles rescinded the "franchise" label with which they had designated him. Philadelphia coaches are split over the play of middle 'back Mark Simoneau, a first-year starter in 2003, and some would like to upgrade. But if there is a change, it won't be with Trotter, who already has been replaced by Michael Barrow by the Redskins. Look for Seattle and Houston to perhaps court Trotter when he is released.

I wont believe anything I read until I see where he goes. If any of you remember Sidney ponson left the orioles on a similar note last year. He pretty much called out the whole front office while being interviewed, but he was back with the team this year. I doubt hes going to philly, but in the end trotter is going to take the most money, and alot of money will heal any old wounds he has from philly

The Texans are my AFC team...I'd like to see them pick up Trotter.....I had already heard the Seattle/Ray Rhodes reunion rumor.

Is Trotter the last remaining over-priced, big name signing made by Dan Snyder before Gibbs' return??? (I mean, aside from Lavar Arrington)

as far as FAs? Lavar was drafted along with Samuels remember?

You could squeeze Wynn and Upshaw in there too, in generosity.

trotter was a product of jim johnsons defense. a downhill player. i loved him when he was with the eagles, but with the burned bridges i don't see him coming back. if they did bring him back though, he would have to compete for a starting job, and if he deserved it i would love to see him back in eagle green. just don't know how much he came back after the injury.

I can't say how he played against Philly...hell I can't remember what I had for breakfast, but believe he played pretty well for us at times.
