Where Bowen lacks in speed, he can hit and (as we saw in the endzone Thursday night) cover better than david. Ohalete did a great job as well. If they play the way they did this Sunday......2-0 going into the most telling giant game. From a gambling standpoint, Atlanta may cover because this is a trap game for us.

any chance we may trade him for some low-round picks or halfway decent players? If so, who?

The Post had this to say about Terrell:
"Safety David Terrell may have put himself in jeopardy of being released in the coming weeks unless he convinces the coaching staff that he can make a positive contribution as a backup. Coaches were unhappy with Terrell's reaction to being benched after the first two exhibition games. Ifeanyi Ohalete was moved into the starting lineup alongside fellow safety Matt Bowen. The Redskins placed Terrell, a two-year starter at free safety and one of the club's better special-teams players in recent years, on their game-day inactive list Thursday, with Andre Lott and Todd Franz in uniform to back up Ohalete and Bowen."
Whoa! May be we should trade him!

Just what we need, a bitter bad player...Maybe he should change his name to Westbrook....
Whoa! May be we should trade him!
I doubt we'd get even a salami sandwich for him...

Terrell for a salami sandwich?
Do we get fries with that?
In all seriousness... he's not worth anything in a trade, so we're better to try and 'bring him around'. Nobody likes to be benched, but he was a demon on special teams before he became a bad starting safety, and we could definitely use all the help we can get there.
So as much as I like a good sandwich and fries.... I'd rather see David Terrell -- the ST demon who's happy being back in the lineup, than David Terrell -- the sulking, benched worthless tradebait.

I said he should have been benched in the pre-season, but no one felt the same way
IT FEELS GOOD TO BE RIGHT

oh i dunno Chris ... you could NEVER get that argument from me, I've been screaming to bench him since he started starting... I don't think 'If I only had a Laitte' is much better.
I've been whining in various Redskin communities for YEARS that we need safeties... so you can't say no one felt the same way.
