What's up with our season tickets?

I was informed in December that I was selected for season tickets, and paid the deposit. I was told the new ticket holders will be hearing their assignments in April. Although there's still a couple days left, I haven't heard.
Can anyone shed some light?

My wife and i almost got sucked in to premium seats at FedEx while at the Draft Party. We were ready to sign but got buyer's remorse. We wanna buy a house. I guess what i'm saying is, cheer for me while at the game!!!!

I laid down a deposit for season tix for the first time too and haven't heard anything. I called the ticket office two weeks ago and they said I'd get the info in a week or two. I'm just waiting by the mailbox.
But...

Yeah, we didn't go with the $500 per 2 tickets per game offer, so we decided we'll invest in a big screen TV to watch the games in the luxury of our own home.
Any suggestions?

Red(eemed)skin,
We were also very close to sucked in. Jansenfan had to be led away from there so he could think. LOL It's just not worth it for the club level. We'll wait for our number to come up. And he will go with his dad until then. At least then he and Jackson get to see the games there.

I hear ya. Funny thing, I had to pry my wife away as well. They're good at pitching them though. We even got some FedEx bucks, $5(!!!!), but that STILL wasn't enough to offset the heavy price tag

. I guess God wa talking to us that day 'cause we had a meeting with a financial planner who was also a believer, so as I stood there ready to sign off our down payment for a house, the early AM meeting's happenings kept replaying in my head. Not to mention the different missions my wife and I support.
Hey, maybe our numbers will come up in the same year. How long have y'all been waitin'?

I gues it's been about 4 years that we've been on the list. Before that we didn't live close enough to go to all the games. LOL It took alot of will power but my husband's stepfather was sucked into the club level and it's just not the same crowd. Half the seats were empty. People who'd rather watch in the bar. Not our crowd exactly. LOL

I must admit, all the activity available in the club level makes it easy to get distracted, and sucked into a contract. It IS a beautiful level, but it always makes our stadium look empty when they pan around the stadium on TV. I've been on the list for about 2 yrs, though I have gottan several offers for dream seats and premium seats over the years.

JP- I've had some experience in this area so let me share my understanding with you.
You were most likely selected off the list due to the 5,000 new seats that are being put in which means you are totally at the bottom of the barrel in terms of seat assignment. (From reports around 4500 are "regular" seats, as opposed to club, lodge or suite seats.)
They first give current ticket holders a number of opportunities to renew. This usually goes well past the published "due date" for season ticket renewal. Obviously they have to have a drop dead date of some kind however. Once they get to the "drop dead" date they start calling CURRENT SEASON TICKET HOLDERS who have renewed and who have expressed interest in upgrading their existing seats. They pull these people off an "upgrade list". Once they run thorough the upgrade list, OR they no longer have any seats that reasonably qualify as upgrades, they then will start to call you folks who just came off the waiting list this year to fill in the remaining seats. Needless to say it's a fairly drawn out process.
For example: Say there were only one set of seats available in the lower bowl, RED(EEMED)SKIN is # 1 on the upgrade list and he is in the 10th row of the upper deck. He would get the opportunity to move into these new lower deck seats. I (wormer) am #2 on the upgrade list. My seats are in the 25th row of the upper deck. I would have the opportunity to move into RED(EEMED) SKIN's old seats. Now assume there are no more folks on upgrade and/or they determine my seats suck so bad that they do not constitute an upgrade. Only THEN would they start pulling people off of the general waiting list.
This is only the process for one set of seats. Multiply that by 4500 and you see how it can become a time consuming task.
Peace and chicken grease,
Wormer
