WFT Future Draft Strategy

Watching the latest in the incredibly long list of free agent QBs come to Washington, collect a big paycheck and immediately get injured really has me bummed. (Seriously, poor Fitz going down after only three series has to be the most on brand WFT thing ever.)

I have zero interest going forward in acquiring any free agent QBs to come in here and solve our endless quarterback woes. I don't care if its Aaron Rodgers, DeShaun Watson or Matt Stafford. We need to draft a quality quarterback.

I'd like to propose that the draft strategy for this team going forward should be: DRAFT A QB IN THE FIRST ROUND EVERY SINGLE YEAR UNTIL WE GET OUR GUY.

As much as I like Chase Young, its crazy to me to think that we had the #2 pick that year and didn't grab a quarterback because we had just drafted Dwayne Freaking Haskins.

Draft a QB every year until some rookie jumps out there like Justin Herbert.

Incredible luck huh? You'd almost think we were cursed. ;-P

I think drafting quarterbacks is only sound if you have football people making the decisions. Last time we drafted a quarterback, he was the owner's pet choice. Out of football before his rookie contract had even elapsed.

We still have that owner.
