The Redskins signed Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to a one year deal. One has to wonder if Norman's time in D.C. is over.

Probably. Not really hyped about either of them.
We have a "bend but don't break defense" either way.

I doubt this signing says that... We were thin at cb last uear especially when dunny was hurt. Idk his dead money forcast if we just cut him- but if he wont restructure I see it as a possibility.

I would bet on Norman starting for us this year.

I guess it isn't common knowledge no one seems to know the health status of Dunbar. My initial thought was that DRC might be playing free safety. It seems kind of off that they would bring him in to play nickel. It's kind of hard to know what they're doing or thinking right now. I know they wanted DRC a few years ago. Norman is also eating a ton of cap space so if they wanted to add any cap he's one of the few options they have. Extending Scherff and restructuring one or two players are about the only other options they have. Maybe Norman is starting this year. It would be a lot cheaper in terms of dead cap to keep him this season.
I don't know. There isn't a whole lot to discuss right now so I'm trying to see what people think the plan is ... or if there is a plan.

Thats where Im at... This isnt a replacement for Norman by any means. Likely camp fotter honestly- like Scandrick was last year. OR fs as mentioned for vet skills leadership and maybe a sub role at any db.
Normans contract, to me, is only a concern if we have our eyes on a prize- like the Diggs rumour or some kind of big signing that would call for more cap space. Right now it seems as though this adds depth and then we hit the draft and hopefully make good choices

Me neither and methinks that's the problem - we don't seem to make moves related to each other or our needs.
We are dysfunctional at the highest levels.
