It just got worse. Trey Quinn was also placed on IR.

Yeah I was surprised to see them put Sims on the IR so quickly with a sprain. Do they really try to bring him back to the active roster at some point? Or is this a way to stash him for the year without exposing him on the practice squad?

Apparently they do surgery for high ankle sprains (new?) and the recovery is quicker then waiting it out? Less likley to re- piss it off?

I was surprised to hear this level of treatment for a sprain too

'Surgery' don't mean what it used to do. It could be just a pressure relief method done thru a mini-hole and 'sutured' up with a bandaid.

Skins are reportedly signing Breshad Perriman and Michael Floyd. And they are in on Josh Gordon.

I guess they've already had enough of the Drop Twins.

Giants will release OT Ereck Flowers if he is not traded by 4 p.m. Tuesday, per source.
I know this guy has been a disaster in NY but I would not be upset to see the team snap him up for the right price. Let Callahan coach him up and plug him in at guard. Can he really be worse there than Lavaou? Really would just love to see the Redskins take advantage of the NYG's woes.

Bill Callahan could get something out of him. Former #9 overall pick, right? I wouldn't trade for him but I'd take him if he were on waivers.

Peterson's shoulder is sprained and he intends on playing through it. No other updates yet.

Bump ... because ...

Now the Washington Redskins think Flowers can help an offensive line that has been overwhelmed with injuries the past two seasons. On Monday, Washington announced it signed Flowers to a one-year contract. Multiple outlets reported the deal is worth $4 million.
