I like Steinberg's phrase: "Gibbs has somehow managed to be both the most popular Redskins figure of the 1980s and the most popular Redskins figure of the 21st century..."Gibbs has somehow managed to be both the most popular Redskins figure of the 1980s and the most popular Redskins figure of the 21st century, the best coach in the lifetime of millennials who have mostly seen mediocrity, and the best coach in the lifetime of middle-aged folks who lived through something different. It’s hard to find many Redskins fans who don’t love the man, and these NFL Network films are often crafted to make you love someone even more. Get ready for gushing, in other words.
