well the draft is now over and the Redskins went from 40-1 to 50-1

we're at 23 on the list - we're most likely not winning the NFC East but finishing on top of the eagles and giants shouldn't be too hard

Odds makers are like weather men. Never right, yet still keeping their jobs. Personally how can you predict a season just after it's draft. Now if it was week 4. They might have some idea.

There are only 32 teams so how in the hell can the odds be greater than 32-1?

The NFC East feels like the one division where any team could win it and then end up in the Super Bowl.

are you freaking kidding me?

The point was the odds are based upon Vegas making money, not based upon any concrete reality of the actual odds.

Actually, to make money, the odds they set should be shorter than the "concrete reality of the actual odds." One is based on the other.

After all, if the "concrete reality of the actual odds" was say 50-1 but Vegas offered 100-1, that would be a recipe for them to lose money.

Thus, the "concrete reality of the actual odds" is probably odds significantly longer than 32-1.

Vegas odds against us winning a Super Bowl are at 66/1 in July - slightly worse than the Eagles at 50/1

Vegas has the boys from pukeville in the Super Bowl with odds against winning it at 9/1 and the Giants are at 16/1

for those that like mediocrity, the good news is it looks like another typical Snyder season with about 8 wins (maybe 9 if we're lucky)

why pay big $ for a good QB when the end result will be the same - same old Redskins ...
