He thinks Skins will trade up to #2 over with San Fran. We give Cousins for #2 and pick DE Jonathan Allen.
WELL, WELL............what say YOU???
RANK
1
BROWNS
Myles Garrett - DE, Texas A&M: Garrett is the best pass rusher in the draft and will fit nicely in the Browns' new 4-3 defense.
RANK
2
REDSKINS
Jonathan Allen - DE, Alabama: (Projected trade with 49ers for QB Kirk Cousins) Redskins get an excellent 3-4 defensive end who gives you an inside pass rush.
RANK
3
BEARS
Marshon Lattimore - CB, Ohio State: Lattimore has terrific cover skills. The Bears will solve their quarterback problem by other means.
RANK
4
JAGUARS
Leonard Fournette - RB, LSU: Fournette will take pressure off QB Blake Bortles.

Smoke dream there. Why would the niners give up their #2 pick if Cousins will sign with them next year being a FA. I'd be very happy if we even got their 2nd round pick!

Casserly has a ax to grind. Remember he was GM when Snyder brought the team and Snyder fired him. Cousins has already told people it doesn't matter he will be a 49er in 17 or 18. Snyder is such a clown pride alone is going to give Cousins his 23.9 million and then walk and the Redskins get nothing but more national media coverage showing what a bumbling imbecile he is, but to Snyder any press is good press. #FACT

+1. There is no reason for the 49ers to trade away a #2 pick.
Even if they did, this stuff makes me nuts. I don't care if its the second round pick in the draft. You're going to trade away your quarterback for a defensive end? Awesome. We go from the 25th ranked defense in the league to the 16th. And the #3 ranked offense to the #15. yay.

we could get the top 5 picks in the next 2 drafts and it would make no difference when Dan Snyder is the talent evaluator
we need a GM but it makes no difference who the GM is if Dan Snyder is the one making the decisions

Agreed. Little Dan Snyder is worse than George Preston Marshall, but in a different way.
Funny: I walked past the ESPN office near Times Square, which projected Redskin headlines: team interested in a TV analyst named Mayock, and Cousins signs tender...a step towards a trade. Remembered Casserly, the last actual and functioning GM of the Redskins. Meaning Casserly had the authority that NFL GM's have. Wow...had not thought of Casserly in a long time.

we do know that Snyder and Allen don't know enough about the players or how to manage the draft properly
and we do know that Casserly is very likely to try and make Snyder look stupid

We've had 18 years to watch Snyder operate. A slime-ball. Year after year, except for the four seasons when Joe Gibbs returned.
