Skins sign Josh Evans (S) to compensate. I wonder if this means Su'a Cravens is starting for us.

Asked about Cravens, Gruden said, “It’s not looking good. He took a personal day today. He hasn’t shown a lot of progress as of today, so we’ll check him out tomorrow and see where he’s at.”
As of now, Duke Ihenacho, Will Blackmon and Deshazor Everett are the healthy safeties on the roster.

I'm not clear on what Cravens injury is exactly. Keep reading "upper arm injury". Anyone know?

Praise Jesus. This guy will not see a football field ever again in his lifetime with pads on. We should have cut him a long time ago. He was a nice player at one point in his career, but he does not belong in the NFL any more.

It's actually impressive how terrible the Redskins are at safety. When is the last time the Redskins had a competent safety not named Sean Taylor or LaRon Landry? I'd say over a decade ago with Matt Bowen and Ryan Clark. And don't come back with DeAngelo Hall. He was the best of bad options.
It's shocking how long it's been since the Redskins had an average safety. I'm convinced if you put the most average, middle of the road safety in the NFL on this roster the last few seasons we'd be sitting here ready to sign him to a Josh Norman sized contract.

Dirty 30 was not all that..... Strong but looked like he wanted to be a bodybuilder instead of an NFL player.
ST21 --------------- God bless his soul. We miss him dearly.

True and the injuries were an issue here. But over his career still better than nearly anyone else we've had in recent years.
