Not a killer, just a temporary disabler. After they've been deleted, normal posting can resume.

We know that this is likely to make responding to certain posters a little delayed... maybe even less satisfying , but we really appreciate when we can see all of the bot crap as the most recent post.

BTW... I accidentally clicked one of the links while cleaning out over 80 spam posts and killing multiple bots yesterday... scared the crap out of me... locked me onto a nasty Russian porn page, and wouldn't respond to any commands... had to do a hard reboot because it was the only way to get out... ran a deep scan when I restarted. Nothing was found, but seriously, DON'T click the damned links...

We appreciate your patience, but there's only so much we can do when we are being bombarded nightly. We have added some security measures and are currently working on some workarounds to make it more difficult. Thanks.

Sucks. Thanks for your work trying to keep those idiots out. If you've ever been responsible for running a website, the barrage of spambots, sql injection, etc; that gets thrown at you is insane. People have no clue.
