Gruden's old team is next up on the Redskins schedule and this game is in the UK at 0930

BIG game for the Redskins as they have a bye week the next week and then a tough schedule to follow

Be nice to be at 5-3 with 8 games to go

Like your focus, man. The only proper way to respond to a loss is to come out and get a win next week.

We definitely have a good chance to win this one. Would like to see Norman play, that increases our chances big time. He is usually better against the bigger receivers.

If he had a concussion, I doubt he plays.

And that will be a HUGE deal. AJ Green is one of the best WRs in the NFL currently. He will eat Breeland alive. It is my opinion that without Norman, it is like spotting CINCY 7 points --- maybe more.

CINCY is a FAR FAR FAR better team than their record indicates. Their losses are @PIT, DEN, @DAL, and @NE (with Brady). Those are 4 of the best teams in the NFL right now --- and they played 3 of those games away. I see this game as 50-50 at best and without Norman, I see this as favoring CINCY (which is also how Vegas sees it currently).

Dalton is playing extremely well. I don't expect us to get any TOs against their OFF --- so we can't have any mistakes like we did yesterday and expect to win.

I really do think that this group is a lot more focused and are better able to put a game like that behind them than some of the teams from the recent past could - there are no easy games in the NFL and this team just needs to focus on the next game

one game at a time and there's a nice break after this one

as the man up here says - "our focus is on the next game ..."

Also though their wins are against the dolphins, browns, and jets... scrubs, scrubs, and scrubs. Jury is out on cinci.

a lot of teams are good/great one week and not so much the next - The Steelers we played did not look nearly as good against the Dolphins and the Eagles the past 2 weeks would have lost by 21 yesterday ...

btw - Vegas opening line was 6 ... it's now at 3 - must mean something - it does not matter how well or bad the Bengals have been playing ... all that matters is how well we play this Sunday and whether they can match us - simple really

I guess we have a huge advantage in that Gruden was the OC for the Bengals in 2013

Yeah I agree, they've shown that ability to put a loss behind them. Your point about the Steelers and this being a week to week league was right on, too.

I think they should be pissed at themselves for the Detroit game. Very winnable game, and insane how they dominated time of possession in that game. They're going to have to beat someone we don't expect if they want to make up ground.

I know coaches don't play but Gruden will be EXTREMELY motivated to win this. I'm sure he is in everyone's face all week and has let them know how much this one means to him. Look for the Redskins to play super hard and for Gruden to pull out all the stops.

My hope is that this Redskins win propels the Bengals on to a 4-12 season. Marvin Lewis loses his job in December and takes over for Joe Barry in a triumphant return to Washington as the new defensive coordinator. :D

Any word on who is starting RB?
Dunno about that Marvin Lewis thing, I think Joe will be around for a while. I hope so.
