Just heard it's his 5th one in 5 years...Hate to see this but he really needs to think about his future, if he doesn't act not he may not have one?

I'm hearing it could be his 6th concussion. Why is our luck with talented players so bad? What have we done to deserve this?

I think I saw the hit that did it on Sunday. I thought at the time that it was the kind of hit that might cause a concussion. And in his case, it's any hit to the head. I thought he might be done after his last one. I know he's great, but at some point he's going to have to hang up his helmet, or he's going to be brain-dead by the age of thirty.

That's a bummer. Agree with Deadskins and DEHog's comments though. If he has yet another serious head injury, he may have to start seriously considering whether or not he can continue to play.

Have they come to the conclusion it was a concussion yet? Last I heard he had a couple concussion like symptoms coming into practice one day so they wanted to do the right thing and put him in the protocol to get him checked out.

If he's had four or five concussions, and this might be the sixth, this is the time for Reed to think about his future...as everyone has said. I love the Redskins, but not if players are risking dementia-at-a-young-age.

Taking the under on the preseason over/under of six games before he was out was a no brainer.

Heard a suggestion yesterday that the Redskins potentially were running the ball better with Vernon Reed and Niles Paul in. Any truth to that?

They're certainly better blockers than Reed.

We certainly ran the ball well yesterday! Not sure if its a coincidence or not but I can see the argument.

I heard Riggins the other day comment that he viewed Jordan Reed as more of a big WR than a TE. Probably some truth to that, eh?

Oh, sure. And there's nothing wrong with that, really. I'm all for just letting these guys find their niche where they can do things no one else is doing. Cravens, Reed, any kind of 'tweener, really.
