Hey everyone, first time post, but get on here and read all the time. I'm so freakin stoked about the chanting of "We Want Dallas, We Want Dallas", I just went to look at our schedule..... I'm thinking we're going to start 4-0.
I don't think Tampa is going to beat us with everyone they just lost...Giants, no, not with a rookie quarterback. Dallas, don't make me laugh. And finally Cleveland, with newly acquired Winslow (chuckle), I'm just not seeing they have the fire power. The first real test should come against Baltimore.

I can't wait to see LAVAR AN OR TAYLOR knock the living "explicative" out of K2!

Personally, I just want to win that first game.
(That's a Joe Gibbs-ism...like a mantra: we don't want to go undefeated, we just want to win this week. He says the same thing every week. If a reporter asks him about winning streaks, he almost uses strong language, like "dang, we don't talk about winning streaks here. We focus on the next game." etc.)

I want to win...
But if we don't win, I just hope it won't be in the fashion of last year. Losing because of lack of concentration and discipline INFURITATES me, but losing because we just got beat by a better team is hard, but easier to deal with.
Lets just give it our all.......
all the way to the super bowl

I'll be happy with 2-2 and a normal team!

i will be happy if we don't have 5 false starts and 1 unsportmans like penalty...
which i know will not happen... i can handle losses... b/c i know the current coaching staff and players are now going to be laying it all on the line... i am so happy gibbs is back....

I have to be careful not to get too optimistic, getting caught up in the off-season hype, but I don't think 4-0 is unrealistic. With Gibbs running the ship we are capabale of so much more if the players buy in to his philosophy.
I just hope we lose all or most of our preseason games - another Gibbs trademark - then start the season like gangbusters.

agreed. I don't want to get my hopes up too high - I think we had our fill of that the last 3-4 seasons.
I think we might go 8-8 or 9-7... split the division and possibly make it into the wild card spot as a spoiler towards the end of the season.
10-6 isn't unreasonable.
I do believe we will do better, and we have upgraded in two spots.
