The Skins are 3rd in passing, 25th in rush defense, 26th in pass defense and 28th in rush offense. These are horrible numbers and the recipe for a very bleak year. Cousins and company carried the team to a title that was weakened by injuries. It looks like Dallas, the Eagles and Giants have improved but Washington may not be even as good as last season.

Teams that can't run, stop the run or stop the pass lose and lose big. Scot Mccoughan has still got soft finesse team highly dependent on Kirk Cousins and his receivers. Scot spend a ton on the defensive backfield instead of the lines and it shows. The OL and DL have gotten their butts handed to them in all 3 games.

Not trying to censor you but ^^^ these ^^^ comments ^^^ might be best aired in the "Current Stats" thread which is updated/bumped every Tuesday.

True but look who we lost yesterday - Breeland and Hall. And look who made the big plays - Dunbar and Cravens.

I'm convinced he'll pick O and D linemen whenever he feels they are the best players on his board.

Yeah. It sucks but fans just have to be patient on that one. D-line was a need this season, but so was the secondary. We all know this. Not to mention, Josh Norman was an unexpected and lucky acquisition.
