week 4 - The Browns come to play at FEDEX

The early line was 6.5 ... and now ... it's out to 9.5
the Redskins defense comes up HUGE in NJ in week 3 - after allowing 3 TDs on the first 4 drives, the giants only score 2 FGs

We need to win this game, but the Browns will be desperately looking for a win too. I'm worried about Crowell and Pryor to be honest. Saw a lot of read option stuff with Pryor that could torch us.

It's too bad this can't be an RGIII reunion, but then again I think we all knew there was a good chance he'd already be on IR when we played. Too bad for Griffin.
I'm really looking forward to this one: it's the perfect chance for us to get back on track. We need it.

I hope people aren't sleeping on this game. The Browns are definitely capable of beating us, really should have won their last two games. I'm sure they're looking at this weekend as their best chance to get their first win - and rightly so!
I actually like our chances better if RG3 was starting for Cleveland.

You have to wonder how many players on the Skins defense wanted to take a shot at RGIII.

Browns are lacking alot of talent. But offensively they have some weapons and an underrated run game. The key is putting plenty of pressure on the rookie and not letting him sit back and be comfortable like we did with Prescott. We do that then we blow them out, if not they can stay in the game with big plays.

Sounds easy, but how confident are you that we can put pressure on the QB? I'm not especially.

I doubt the team will sleep on it. At 1-2 there is little chance they see themselves as world-beaters yet.

are you guys for real? what the hell are you thinking?
Cody freaking Parkey is the team's 3rd string QB
AND
he's the starting QB for this game
AND
he's the team's kicker
the current line is 9.5 and it should be 14
and some of you think we'd be better off playing against RG3
I'm sorry that Griffin's not playing but even healthy he would not be able to help this Brown's squad

We absolutely would be better off playing against a track athlete miming as a QB. Rookie QB's routinely have torched us over the years. Kessler and the Browns should have won that game in Miami. We can't rely on 2 crucial missed FG's to win this game.

The Dolphins had to go to OT last weekend to beat the Browns. The Ravens barely squeaked by them two weeks ago. And no, Cody Parkey is not starting this game on Sunday.
Don't sleep on this game.

I gotta believe that a Hue Jackson coached team is better than a Jay Gruden coached team. If Cleveland wins I can't wait to hear the excuses.

I'm not overly confident about this game but we will win and maybe by as many as 10 points
this is NOT your same old Redskins - players are getting an opportunity to play and they are taking advantage

God I hope so. I don't mean to be mean but I think Hall tearing his ACL is the best thing that could have happened. Perhaps now we can get a real safety that KNOWS HOW TO PLAY that position back there. I never understood the thought process of putting Hall back there. We also need to admit that the thing that made Hall good was his speed. His injuries have slowed him. There is no sense in owning a sports car with truck tires. That's basically what Hall is. DUKE IHENACHO is a Superbowl Safety and Barry starts a broke down CB at starting safety. But hey what do I know, perhaps he can start or at least provide a breather for Will Blackmon who is another CB turned Safety. Too bad people can't come to the terms that just because Rod and Charles Woodson made the switch doesn't mean everyone can.

Amen. I love Hall, but he was not making the transition well. Too many times he would be almost, what seemed like, 30 yards off the ball at the snap. Can't play safety that way. He was also consistently late getting over to help poor Breeland opening night.

Yeah, I'm never confident about any NFL game. Did anyone expect the Steelers/Eagles game this weekend?
Last year though, this was the type of matchup where Cousins really lit it up. If he's going to make a case for himself this year, I think he needs to impress against a team like the Browns.

I've been saying for a while, Cleveland has this game marked as their first win. The Redskins are bottom feeders just like The Browns.

Since there doesn't appear to be a game thread....Norman certainly isn't living up to the hype...

The Skins started out so well in this game, but now, the penalties are starting mount, KC just threw an INT, and the D is playing like chit...are they trying to lose to the worst team in the league?
