Yeah, yeah... I could tell from all the Dallas fans they showed that they were ecstatic with the pick.

Julius Jones isn't bad... but EVERY board I have seen had him behind both other Jones', Bell, Perry and Jackson.

I just don't think he's the solution for them. The guy had a good sr. year... no doubt about it... but he's had injury and attitude problems in the past, and he doesn't have very good hands. I certainly think that Steven Jackson will end up being a much better back... and they could have had him.

hey, it's the last thing I want to happen, but running backs an surprise you, I mean, they can come from anywhere.

Then again, who's the last big Notre Dame star running back to play in the NFL?

The Bus?

I agree SF55.

Terrell Davis & Stephen Davis were both seen as a bit of a reach even though they were taken on the 2nd day. Look what they accomplished between them.

Of course neither of those 2 had "the fumbles" as bad as JJ.

There is a league wide trend now to not take a RB early, many a good back has been goten in the later round. Look at what Denver did, everyone thought (me included) that they moved up to get Jackson but instead took a LB don't look now but there's a nice little D forming out west!

I still don't get this pick, not only does he fumble a lot, but he's too small, and well according to scouts inc. too dumb...

I just noticed in his Scouts Inc. scouting report that he was given a M flag.. for Mental. I guess he has problems learning and retaining the system... I am liking this Dallas pick more and more by the second, haha

Being dumb is only ONE requirement to play for Dallas, in order to fit into the Cowboys system Julius Jones will need to start abusing illicit drugs as well

This is all starting to remind me of all those jokes about Dallas going to the no huddle; not for tactical reasons, just because if they did they'd be violating the parole rules about being so far away from other known offenders...
