Official 1st Round Draft Selection Thread

I have started this thread in hopes that any of you with access to your computer today can help out some of our overseas brethren that might not be able to catch the draft. Please just keep this thread to the selections made, and put commentary in a new thread.
All this thread should have is 32 posts after this one saying exactly what happened at the pick number.
I'm going to be out a lot of the day, so i'm counting on some of the brothers to fill this thread and keep Redskin fans around the world informed

With the first pick in the NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select Quarterback Eli Manning of the University of Mississippi.
Edit: Manning was traded to the New York Giants for Phillip Rivers, the Giants 2004 3rd round pick, and the Giants 2005 1st and 5th round draft picks.

With the second pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders select offensive tackle Robert Gallery our of the university of Iowa.

With the third pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select University of Pittsburgh wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

With the fourth pick in the NFL Draft, the New York Giants select North Carolina State quarterback Phillip Rivers.
Edit: The Giants traded Rivers, their 2004 3rd round draft pick, and their 2005 1st and 5th round picks to the San Diego Chargers for quarterback Eli Manning.

With the 5th pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, our very own WASHINGTON REDSKINS select safety Sean Taylor out of the University of Miami (Florida).
Sean is arguably the best overall player in the Draft and has been mentioned as the next Ronnie Lott.

With the 6th pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns trade with the Detroit Lions to select tight end Kellen Winslow, Jr. out of the University of Miami (Florida).
Winslow, Jr. has been rated as the best tight end in the draft and makes plays when called upon.

With the 7th pick in the NFL Draft (acquired from the Cleveland Browns), the Detroit Lions select wide receiver Roy Williams out of the University of Texas.

With the 8th pick in the NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select cornerback DeAngelo Hall out of Virginia Tech.
This selection will re-unite Hall with former Virginia Tech teammate Michael Vick.

With the 14th pick in the NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select defensive tackle Tommie Harris out of the University of Oklahoma.
Harris is rated as one of the best defensive tackles in the Draft.

With the 15th pick in the NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select wide receiver Michael Clayton out of Louisiana State University.

The San Francisco 49ers traded the 16th overall pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for the Eagles' 2004 1st and 2nd round picks. With the 16th overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select offensive tackle Shawn Andrews out of Arkansas.

With the 18th pick in the NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select defensive end Will Smith out of Ohio State University.

The Minnesota Vikings traded the 19th overall pick to the Miami Dolphins for the Dolphins' 20th overall pick and 2004 4th round pick.
The Miami Doplhins select guard Vernon Carey out of the University of Miami (Florida).

The Dallas Cowboys traded their #22 pick to the Buffalo Bills for the Bills' 2004 2nd and 3rd round draft picks and their 2005 1st round draft pick.
With the 22nd pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select quarteback J.P. Losman out of the University of Tulane.
