In Dr. Z's mock draft on SI.com, he said
Well, Winslow told Detroit GM Matt Millen that Joe Gibbs told him that if he were there, he'd be the Skins' selection. So why was Washington trying to trade up for the Raiders spot? Not for Winslow. Something funny's going on here. Other people's mock drafts (no, I'm not unwilling to use the expression for the competition) have given the Skins Taylor. I don't think Gibbs will go defense, but I'm not sure, since he didn't return my phone call, one of three clubs that stiffed me, which is not surprising since I can't remember the last time I said a nice thing about the Redskins.

he admits that he doesn't like the skins

He's an idiot along with Lenny P. I mentioned something to a friend of mine who's a cowboys fan (yes, I have one :-)) the ridiculous articles these guys put out. His response was - "well maybe they're just speaking the truth and giving us an unbiased opinion." The only thing I could do is laugh. They're completely bias. Wait until Gibbs starts winning, you'll see them all start kissing you know what and jumping on the bandwagon... typical.

Sorry, had to vent!

Zimmerman is a columnist, not a reporter. Bias is his business. I have no problem with him being biased. What I have a problem with is being so caught up in peripheral issues like whether Joe Gibbs returned your phone call or Dan Snyder fired your favorite secretary in the marketing department that it clouds your perspective about things that happen on the field.

You expect a columnist to air his opinions, and you accept that his may not always jibe with yours. But if he's credible, you can respectfully disagree but still read his stuff. Zimmerman and Pasquarelli are so hell-bent on trashing the Redskins and Snyder at every turn that they can't even acknowledge the good moves they make. To me, that means they have no credibility. And if they have no credibility, there's no point in reading them.

At one time I thought Z just hated Monk but I now know that he hates everything Redskin.

When we win the Lombardi this year I'd like Gibbs to insert it into Z where the sun don't shine.

why sully it - if he inserted it there it would corrode away to nothing with all the bile Zipperhead has in him...

I want to SEE that 4th trophy in the front hall, not just picture it being there :)

Someone (this is my best attempt at self-motivation) should bookmark one or two of those articles that Pastarelli wrote doubting that Gibbs would be able to handle free agency and the salary cap(!). I remember specifically an all-negative article that he wrote; and then a couple of months later he wrote something to the effect of: "Gibbs' critics might be surprised at how well he handles the salary cap. . ."

As he sneakily turns into a pro-Redskins guy when we start to win, someone should have a record of his bandwagon tendencies.

I don't know what this would do for anyone.

Maybe we can all write grumpy letters to him or something citing his treachery.
