Bengals To Unveil New Uniforms On The 22nd

I think they will unveil a new helmet, too. Expect the inverted colors to be the new helmet. I saw it on Marvin Lewis' interview on NFL Network months ago and it looked a little weird.

There is also a new "B" logo which has already been unveiled. It has been out for a couple of months.

From what I read, the helmet's not being changed. They're just tweaking the jerseys -- adding the new 'B' logo as well as introducing an orange third jersey.

The "B" logo is under the NFL Equipment v-neck logo. There are white stripes on both sides of the black unis. The black unis are the only respectable ones.

Here's the B logo announced a month and a half ago. This sucks, too. I loved their old uni's but what can we do?

Those uniforms look like something you would see space fighters wear latenights on the scifi channel. What is the obsession teams have with making their uniforms uglier?! Do we WANT to be like the Arena Leagues or the XFL?

I don't like ANY dark-on-dark uniform combination -- blue-on-blue, red-on-red, black-on-black. To me, it's a thug look that doesn't belong anywhere near the NFL. I don't mind the black pants with the white jerseys or even the orange.

Just keep the monochromatic look at the low-level colleges and high schools.

Yeah white on white is fine, so is white on yellow and the like but dark on dark looks like crap. These new Bengals uniforms really do look like Division II jerseys.

I think these new uniforms look pretty sharp. Honestly, I've always kind of liked the Bengals uni's. The first year I can remember being an "official" football fan was the year the 49ers and Bengals met in the SB (the first time... Montana's breakout season).

I'm not feeeling the white with the orange sleeves. Unless you have a svelte figure (QB, Receivers, DBs), it's gonna draw WAY too much attention to the guts.

I like the orange top with black bottoms, too.

They are an improvement for the most part. Like Atlanta's new look, they make them seem faster and imposing.

The logo is a bit silly, like the "Alpha Beta" logo from "Revenge of the Nerds".

The only new uniforms that actually worked for a team is Tampa Bay - maybe that's because their original unis were sooooo incredibly bad. Otherwise most look like Gangsta unis.

Hard to make orange and black look too cool, except at Halloween. :lol:

I disagree. The Broncos and Patriots made some changes as well, and they look good. Okay, maybe winning 4 SBs in the past 10 years brought them to the limelight and made them "okay" to see, but still, the unis ain't bad.

You're right - those 2 aren't bad.
