Ugh, Monday night to start off the season. I hate it.

Not too many other primetime games, though I suppose we could be "flexed" into one or two down the stretch.

I just want to beat Dallas, the Giants at least once, and the Ravens. Dear Redskins, please, please beat the Ravens this year.

Me too. Pittsburgh on a Monday night week one? Not happy about that one.

Its a tough schedule. Hopefully the team is prepared to take a step forward this year.

love how the pukes are upset about playing 3 games in 12 days - how about a little love for the Redskins - we do too

they have 3 games at home - we have the Vikings, the Packers then 4 days later we're on the road for that game in pukesville ...

are you kidding me - one of the greatest games on Thanksgiving EVER ...

1974 Thanksgiving Day Game
On November 28, 1974, the Redskins were 8-3 and ready to secure a playoff berth with a win against the Cowboys (6-5) in a nationally televised game in Dallas. With less than ten minutes to go in the third quarter, Washington was leading 16-3, when Redskins linebacker Dave Robinson knocked Roger Staubach out of the game. Rookie Clint Longley led the Cowboys to a last-minute come-from-behind victory, throwing a 50-yard touchdown pass to Drew Pearson with 28 seconds left. The final score was Cowboys 24, Redskins 23.

The Redskins were stunned. "I don't have very much to say," coach George Allen said when it was over. "It was probably the toughest loss we ever had.

I still remember that game, the Childe Harold - a great bar in DC that has since closed - UNBELIEVABLE

It's going to take more than that to shake my terrible memories of Thanksgiving for the games before 2012. Man I hate primetime games. 1:00 on a Sunday just feels so much more comfortable, safer even.

That was a good one though. We happened to have dinner guests that day who are native Texans. Thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving.

Please don't ever do that again... I had almost gotten over it... now it's back... and i'm perpetually pissed again... All I can see is the look on Brig Owen's face as he thought... "Oh, crap. Play action"...
