Opinion on possibility of Anquan Boldon.

My feeling is he prolly wants too much right now, but if we could get him for around what we were paying for Roberts, he would really solidify what is arguable the best corps of pass catchers in the league. Don't think I can name a roster better than Jackson, Garcon, Boldon, Crowder, Reed, Paul, and Davis. Behind a decent of line, improved running game, and Captain Kirk, our offense on paper is looking dangerous.

There's only 1 ball. I have recurring images of Gary Clark on the sidelines venting frustration over not seeing the ball. Know what I mean?

When Boldin was with the Cardinals, I kept looking at his number -- 81 -- and thinking of Art Monk. Yes, I thought, Boldin would help the Redskins.

That was more than a couple seasons ago. Is Boldin worth the money he will want?

If he can contribute something we don't already have and doesn't take too many reps from our younger players, why not? How much do you all think he expects?

Boldin, Garcon, Jackson, Crowder, Ross, Grant isn't too shabby if we keep 6. Maybe he'll be a good influence on the newer guys.

That is really good depth, but I don't think I'd call it the best receiving corps in the league. What we're missing is that elite presence that takes the offense to the next level: a Calvin Johnson, Odell Beckham, Antonio Brown, Dez Bryant, Rob Gronkowski or Jordy Nelson. DeSean Jackson is just a tier below that level of explosiveness/production, and Jordan Reed sometimes looks like he could get there. But we don't have that yet, and to really be considered among the best in the NFL I believe you need it.

Unlike Vernon Davis, this guy has actually played fairly well the last few years considering his age. He's tough as nails and he probably can get plenty of reps opposite of Garcon and steal some from Crowder. True possession receiver and can run block.

With that said unless it is under 2mil per year or injury happens I wouldn't mess with him for the expense of taking reps away from Jamison Crowder who could use more development.
