New HCs - Chip Kelly 49ers & Ben McAdoo at NY Giants

Chip Kelly is back in ...

and it looks like OC Ben McAdoo will be HC in New York
update 2/19 - McAdoo will keep 7 assistant coaches from 2015

He can't be any worse with the 49ers than he was last year as Eagles Head Coach

Well... not yet... he will need to cast off 4 or 5 of their best players before they get stupid enough...

Weird choice for SF. As if they did not see what the Chipster did with the Eagles. Maybe The Force is strong in him? "These are not the droids you're looking for" etc. Of course, Jedi mind-tricks only work on the weak-minded, a Jabba told us.

'Niners Fire Jim Harbaugh, because he's too stubborn... Hire world's most stubborn and autocratic coach just fired by Eagles...
Brown's still haven't hired a GM... but go and hire a new HC anyway...
Sooooooo glad that we are no longer the default laughing stock of the NFL anymore!

The usual way to decide is to see if the guy is still getting paid but I think he had just finished a 1-year extension.
I think he pre-emptively quit to avoid technically being fired though that surely would have happened.
Yes, nice to no longer be the default laughingstock.

This by far is their dumbest move ever!!! I mean consider the logic here, you have several
coaches like Gruden, Cowher, Billick, doing analyst jobs for the slob media currently, then
you have? Whisenhunt and Coughlin as big splashes waiting for calls..all these names alone
would have made a tremendous splash if they could have landed one of them, but they had
to go and hire the clown who destroyed Philly
how does this logic make sense? you basically waste another 4 years at least trying to get it right
only to have to fire him, when you realize that his style doesn't fit the NFL. thankfully this is not
Jerruh doing this but if I am a Niners fan I am pissed and don't attend games next year that's for
sure

Chip Kelly can coach, he can’t pick players. I’m quite sure Kelly will do things a little different this time around. How many coaches won 27 games over the past three years? The problem I see with him and what’s going on with these hires is that owners are hiring X and O’s guys and not leaders…time will tell if they can become good coaches/leaders, most are suited to be coordinators
