Great game. We did let things slip near the end, but the Giants were lucky even to have an opportunity to try a Hail Mary / hook and ladder. Beckham is ridiculous.

I am utterly amazed that the 'Skins did not crap the bed, as that is what I fully expected. I really don't even know how to celebrate a big win anymore, but I dimly recall that victories like this were once commonplace and almost taken for granted...

I'm so pleased for this group - this was a huge step - it wasn't pretty but they found a way to win and this season that's a good thing
we have so much to b e thankful for here this season and it's kind of nice to win this game on this weekend ...
I was a little worried that we didn't do more with the early breaks but the only thing important is finding a way to win and we did
very big game against the pukes on Monday night while the vagiants have their hands full with the Jets

All Hail Quinton Dunbar. That rookie balled out with the bone sticking through his skin on his finger. Building tough for the future starts here.

How about some credit to the coaching staff btw? Quintin Dunbar was a wide receiver in camp this summer. Dude made the biggest play of the game yesterday as a cornerback.

Gruden sucks.
Barry sucks.
Cousins has a noodle arm. [/sarcasm]
Great team win.
I have a freeze-frame showing Crowder holding the ball 2 inches short of the goal line with his knee down. That was a good overturn.
For the most part it seemed like the refs let us play. I like playing that way and making them make calls.
It will probably be enough to beat the Eagles and beat Dallas twice. Backing up this win with a win next Monday would be huge.

Whew! Glad that is behind us! I listened to the game while working in my shop, the satisfaction Sonny shared with the pass to Djax was like days of old. The defense sounded awsome, Doc Walkers' description of the beatings being given was graphic.
The only highlight I saw on TV this morning was the catch by Beckham - they failed to mention it was a loosing effort. Ah well, let everybody focus on that whilst we sharpen our blades unnoticed.

Dunbar is a good example of what competent front offices do. They take players and put them in a position to reach their maximum potential. Dunbar had a great game. I was actually quite impressed by his play. Hopefully his hand injury isn't a long term thing.
With Carrier out who is going to play TE other than Reed? The sheer amount of injuries we've had this year are unreal. Just another example of how important a compentent FO is. In any other year, we'd have idiot boy Danny and his yes-men trading away draft picks for over the hill fill-in players and constantly hearing about how injuries ruined the season (all while ironically firing the HC).
As with anything related to our idiot boy Danny, hopefully it actually lasts. Danny boy can get cranky pretty quickly.

there's nothing "unnoticed" about the effort yesterday - wait until you hear the hype at tonight's game about this NFC East leading team

Darrel Young could use the snaps.

Shades of Ronnie Lott, who had a finger amputated because it was not healing straight, and was getting in the way of his game!!! That would be one tough SOB...

Or Jack Ham, who played an entire game with a broken leg. They don't make 'em like that anymore. Or do they?

Honestly, that was exactly what I was thinking (as long as he can transition to the position in a week....

). We'll see.

Front offices? McCloughan has done a great job of bringing in quality guys, but I think the credit for Dunbar really has to go to Perry Fewell. That's coaching, man.
I think the team promoted Je'ron Hamm from the practice squad, so I assume he'll be in the TE mix.

Obviously I don't know but I have a feeling he felt the ball was not wiped down/dried with the towel ...

He said he'd complained about it to the refs two plays earlier when he nearly fumbled the wet ball. I think that was the part that he was angry about. That they didn't do anything about it.

I wish they had! They're much better passing in those short yardage situations than running.
