I had Directv years ago, but it was costly.
That's what I have been doing. Way back, used to take my son to the first (?) sports bar in NYC. Then a mediocre sports bar in West Orange, NJ, then he would take me to a sports bar in Totowa, NJ...one that had enough TV's for fans of each team. That is, Redskin fans watched Redskins /Eagles in one corner, Eagles fans across the room, down a step, and far away. Then an all-Redskins bar where once I cheered with TRO and Mrs. TRO, wonderful people who were visiting NYC.
Last I remember, some Redskin fans in New York gather at The Buddha Bar in Washington Height, NYC...which, maybe, indicates the way housing / rents have ballooned: getting harder and harder for people who work in Manhattan (or just work for a living) to live in Manhattan. New luxury towers being built (example: 5 bedrooms, five baths, $55 million) that sit empty but belong to Russian and Saudi Oil oligarchs.
