Re Thompson running to the : Gameday Thread - Redskins @ Jet

This can turn ugly, real ugly because of the O line injuries. I look to Cousins having to pass 40+ times with dinks and dunks, Thompson running to the right. I would like to see Ross stretching the field, he'd be an unknown and disrupt their gameplan. I look for a defensive game, one of possession and field position. I'll put my money on Hopkins kicking the winning FG.
Go Skins.

I'm having a hard time judging this game. The Jets are 3-1 but their victories are against Cleveland, Miami, and Indianapolis. They lost to the Eagles. Their passing game is hot garbage so if we can stop the run (unlike last week) I think we have a good chance at winning this game. They're averaging about 24 points a game so I'd like to keep them under that. The real concern is their takeaways. They're +6. We have to value possessions and not "give them the damn ball", to paraphrase what a big mouthed receiver once said. They're also leading the league, allowing under 14 points per game but again, they've played some lousy teams. I think we can hang 24 points on them. Let them blitz and throw the screen passes into the holes they vacate. Simple, effective strategy. And for the love of burgundy and gold, don't call or throw that route Grant ran last week. 8-[

Of course he is. They're expecting Cousins and McCoy to be knocked out of the game. #-o

No blocking on that kickoff.

And a drop by Ryan Grant. Pass could have been better. Still, if it's in the hands.

Cousins is looking sharp on this current drive... Daps to the D for getting the ball back so fast and setting it up

The receivers need to run BEYOND the 1st down markers and come back. They can't keep relying on YAC for 1st downs.

ZERO blocking on our kickoffs. Zero. It's like they don't expect a return.

Decker makes up for his fumble... Jarrett does the opposite after making a KILLER play, gives up a big one.. smmfh

It's a good thing that JETS is easy to spell... Otherwise, those ass clowns would have no idea what to say!
