Reducing Penalties is Critical....
I think the 2015 team can play .500 ball if they can reduce the penalties. Reducing penalties is essential to having any kind of chance in Atlanta.

Seems to me the officials could throw a flag on any play during the game. It is up to the suits in NYC, look at how they evened the game in England with the defensive interferance calls - the 2nd interferance call the ball was out of bounds, uncatchable. But they have that little bud in their ears and a suit in NYC is calling the shots. The NFL is getting out of hand, I don't trust them anymore. In the old days the umpire knew a bad call had been made and they'd fix it, we as fans knew it was part of the game, took the lumps good or bad and felt the referrees did the best they could and were impartial. Now a few well timed interferance calls are game breakers, the teams count on them as part of their offensive strategy.
They need to get rid of those earbuds/headsets, the suits in NYC and the consitutional lawyers. It is a game. Part of the charm is it's fallibility. Next they'll be taking the points off the ends of the football.

I don't disagree OJ with you criticism of the league's officiating but I do believe the Redskins need play much more disciplined if this team is to reach its potential this year which I think is 7-9 to 9-7 and go into to 2016 with momentum and confidence. The holding, procedure, delay of game, personal fouls and all the rest have to disappear as we get into the heart of the season. Penalties are the weakness the team can eliminate and needs to eliminate.
