Ranking All 32 Offensive Lines Going into Week 5

Post by riggofan »

This is a freaking joke, right???

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2 ... ng-week-5/
31. Washington Redskins (12th)

Pass blocking rank: 26th

Run blocking rank: 32nd

Penalties rank: 28th

Stud: As always seems to be the case, it’s Trent Williams (+4.4). The former first rounder is the team’s best offensive lineman by a distance, and has allowed just five hurries all year.

Dud: Just what has happened to center Kory Lichtensteiger (-25.0)? He was impressive enough last year, earning a positive grade, but he’s performed as badly as any lineman in the league.

Summary: While the team would have been hoping for more of an instant impact from Brandon Scherff, the real issue has been at the aforementioned center spot. Simply put, your center should not have given up 13 quarterback disruptions after four games, when he gave up just 16 total in 2014.

We lead the league in rushing and we're ranked the 32d run blocking defense?

PFF is hot garbage.

Anyone read the ATL comment about Chester......

I'd love to know how they do the grading.

Doesn't Chris Collensworth own that website? He is a grade A douche.
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

I could care less what the rankings are - all that matters is that the O line is getting better and there is no doubt in my mind that only Trent and Brandon are certain to be starters here next season ...
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

We don't disagree... My commentary, however, just points out the absurdity of the site claiming that the #1 ranked rushing offense has the #32 ranked rushing o-line....

Ummm... No.

Ummm... No.

They must have our RBs rated through the roof.

How are they going to get better if we only bring back two starters?

Yea, because Morgan Moses and Spencer Long have been downright awful. Are you actually watching the games? Asking for a friend.

Our offensive line is not playing badly to be honest - I think the line will continue to evolve because there are just a bunch of guys that don't suit what Scot wants in O linemen here - I'm also disappointed in how Kory L is playing this season he's not done a good job so far
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

 as someone else pointed to - are these guys actually looking at the games - this seems like a pre-disposed deal to me - it's the Redskins, they are terrible

we're not good but we are getting better - it's only been 4 games and we're only 2-2 but there's been a lot to like

we did not play well against the giants and they were up to not go 0-3 - we need to lift our game and cut down on the penalties

I think the players and coaches deserve credit for how well we are running the ball and defending the run - we are improving ...

How'd they rank the Skins 12th overall if the componants were near the very bottom of the league? How do you add a bunch of 'D's' and come up with a 'B+'?

Honestly who cares what that site thinks?

Our pass protection has improved big time. We all know our run blocking has improved big time as well.

Obviously the author of that article has no clue. How do you come up with a last in the league ranking when we lead the league? Makes no sense.

I would say that our Oline, The Pats, TTit and I really cant think of many other Olines out there who are in the same class.

Seriously we have one of the better Olines in the league. n

The 12th was last year's ranking. We finished 31st overall in this ranking.

I wouldn't even put much stock in what the media thinks of us. I like being the underdog in the eyes of everyone else.
