You can see why can't you?? the name alone is worth top billing market wise, but the unsuspecting
suckers who each year drink the Kool aid. are where it's at. If Jerruh didn't have idiots buying up
every ounce of merchandise. Including ticket sales to home games, plus other revenue sharing
this couldn't have happened

Merchandising is a drop in the bucket in comparison with the $640 million the city of Arlington is paying and the $900 million that wasn't financed by taxes. If Jerry personally paid for that stadium, as our owner did, it would have taken $1.2 billion plus 30 years of interest on that principal amount out of his pocket. Quite frankly, Texans are dumb as a box of rocks for agreeing to taxes which allow the rich to get richer while they foot the bill. You can guarantee we won't be paying for a new stadium until our team stops sucking hind tit. I suppose one playoff win in a dozen years warrants a new stadium on the backs of taxpayers, eh?

You've missed my point entirely

when I said unsuspecting suckers I was talking about the taxpayers of Arlington...it didn't take much to
convince them. It was a good idea to front Jones not just their taxes, but for many their properties in
order for him to make his billion dollar stagium a reality..and he did this? by doing what politicians do
best.

Make you believe in promises you know damn well you can never keep..so yes I do agree they are
dumb, shake hands with the Devil and you get what you deserve to be quite honest! however Texas
Stadium was becoming a run down delapitated building, Jones didn't want to invest in the kind of
money to fix it up..for him it was easier to turn it into a parking lot than try and make it work

shame lots of great history and moments were attached to that place. but he is the owner and
he can do whatever the hell he wants..
