Are you ready for some football? It's hard to believe, but it's finally time to watch the Skins play games again. What are you looking for in tonight's game?

No injuries. A td pass for us... And a td pass broke up on D. That'd be amazing

I'm most interested in seeing how our starting D performs, as well as all 3 QBs.

It's been so long. Hard to believe we're here again.

Of course injuries are always the big concern, but apart from that, I'll have my eyes glued on RGIII as long as he's on the field. Tonight will also be our first taste of (some of) the new safeties, though with our injuries at CB maybe we won't be getting the best look at what they are bringing to the table.

How about a sack or two from our bolstered pass rush?

Yeah I'm really interested to see how the o-line looks. I'd love to see the offense come right out with a solid drive - no three and out.

Mostly just want to see something to get excited about this season.

be great to see some good things but I refuse to think that we can expect a lot this season after the disaster that was 2014 - I do hope the defense shows some improvement despite the CB issues

1. The Cleveland defensive was pretty good last year so I think a good showing from OL would be very meaningful. If they can open some holes I'll be encouraged. We have a couple of new OLM and a new line coach so hopefully we'll see a solid effort. It takes time for a line to jell but seeing some holes for Morris and the others against Cleveland would be nice.

2. I'd like to see the Skins run more. It's probably too much to hope for but I hope they at least try to run more this year and I would be somewhat encouraged if they just try to run more regardless of the results a commitment to the run would be encouraging.

3. Cleveland has some decent DB's and a decent rush so I think they will be a challenge for our QB's and receivers. A good performance by Griffin and the receivers would be encouraging.
This is just the first preseason game but hopefully Griffin will show some evidence he can read the field, make the protection calls and execute his assignment. We've been hearing favorable reports hopefully we see it tonight. I'm not looking for massive improvement but looking like he knows what he's suppose to do would be very encouraging.

4. On defense Cleveland was able to run last year before Mack, their center, got hurt. Kyle Shannahan has moved so they have a new rushing scheme. It will be interesting to see how our front 7 performs against their rush. Although if we do well I won't know how much stock to put in it given the Brown's new rushing attack but a bad performance would be a concern.

5. I will be pleased if our pass rush can put some pressure on Cleveland because I think their OL did a good job protecting their QB last year before multiple line injuries weakened it. I'm assuming their healthy so putting pressure on their QB would be a good omen.

6. Cleveland's receiving corps was awful last year so unless they have upgraded our DB's better be able to cover or I feel like our DB's might struggle again.

7. I hope they give Griffin at least a quarter. I think they made a mistake not working him enough in the preseason last year. Some success operating the offense even against Cleveland's 2s would be help him gain confidence and help him speed his game up if he understands things now.

Yes. Not enough push. Tackling is questionable. Blown assignments. Against the Cleveland Browns. I stand by my comment.

If they take the 5 yards on the ensuing kickoff, then why do they re-kick the PAT?
