Well, if you want to get your ass kicked out of the league, that's one way to do it.

You can smoke all you want in 6-7 years, Breeland. Worry about making enough money now so that when the time comes you have as much time as you want for recreation.

He was 22 last August when this actually happened. You've got him beat by 3 years. Congrats.

Although, it should be noted (but probably won't be), that this suspension is for a misdemeanor CITATION he received for possession, not a failed drug test leading to strike 1 under the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Also, what in the world took so long for this suspension to be handed out, its been almost a year?

Yeah, the timing makes no sense. DeflateGate occurred after this and was ruled on prior to it. Timing stinks, but typical commish.

if you make a choice that could affect your availability, the guys in charge should consider that when they put the roster together

some of these twits should be penalized so that others can see the ramifications - wouldn't bother me if he wasn't even here for the first game

And he just got HURT at camp............out 4-6 weeks as I read it.

So once he is physically ready he'll miss 1 game? Might not be too bad at extra week if practicing before plays his 1st game post injury

Appeals process, I think. They don't announce suspensions until the whole process has been exhausted. I guess Breeland's took a long time?

I forgot about this incident from last year and only now realized that this suspension is for the same one. We all gave Breeland a hard time about it last season, and he seems to have kept his nose clean since then. Here's to this being only a blip on the radar.
