Is Tom Brady a Cheater........?

Yes, and the WHOLE TEAM cheats.....
Tom will appeal, and that would be just for "show" that he is adamant of NOT cheating.

NFL suspends Brady 4 games for DeflateGate
NFL suspended Patriots QB Tom Brady four games for "conduct detrimental to the league" in connection with Brady's role in DeflateGate.
The league has also stripped New England of its 2016 first-round pick and a fourth-rounder in 2017, in addition to fining the franchise $1 million. It's an incredibly steep punishment for the organization. Brady figures to appeal his ban, which could result in a reduction to two or three games. Keep in mind the same league suspended Ray Rice two games for punching out his fiancee in an elevator. If Brady's suspension stands at four weeks, he will miss games against the Steelers, Bills, Jaguars, and Cowboys before returning in Week 6 against the Colts. The Patriots have a Week 4 bye. 2014 preseason star Jimmy Garoppolo will open the season as New England's starting quarterback.

^^ Check! They ALL play around the edges in one way or another... some are better than others... and some just get jealous.

is there any doubt in your mind that they would not have won with or without this BS ...

Depends. A key fumble here and there, or an incompletion, and maybe a drive doesn't get sustained. Field position changes, momentum, and morale are all affected. And, who's to say they even get to that game, or play it at home? You know this isn't the first time. Probably everything turns out the same, but they have rules for a reason. You break them and get caught, you have to pay the consequences. My 2 cents

Cheater…not sure about that? I’ll say this, in a game built on motivation and emotion, the NFL just gave Tom Brady the Pats the motivation and emotion to win another SB.

ABSOLUTELY! No one uses perceived persecution as a motivator like Bellichick. Put your money on the Patriots.

I agree that the NFL should punish the Patriots but this was a lot more than that

I will be very surprised if this 'punishment' is not reduced because there is no way in hell they would reduce the penalty if they think that the Pats won 4 Super Bowls because they were playing with balls that were not inflated properly - NO WAY

we'll know when we see if the penalty stands or not

I don't think anyone believes that they won their SBs because of under-inflated balls (only three, because I guarantee they were properly inflated this time  ). If the league does reduce the punishment, I don't think that would be an
indication one way or the other about past SB wins. Anyhoo, at least we know that temperature certainly would not have been a factor in the inflation for those games.

good teams often lose games they should have won ... spit happens

there's no way the Pats should get away with this but there's also little doubt that the results were affected by this stupidity

I just feel that the NFL realizes that they have over reacted and will reduce the penalties

the Pats got caught but it's not that big of a deal - all NFL franchises break the rules

The Superbowl was decided by less then one touchdown. Meaning any advantage gained from cheating on any particular play mattered.
Yes Tom Brady and Bellicheck are great. But rules are rules and they broke those rules. Both teams must abide by the same rules for an even playing field. The punishment is just.

As far as being motivated sure they probably will be. However losing your best player for the first four games is a huge hurdle to overcome. Not to mention they lost many of the their top defensive players. Both starting corners, starting saftey, a starting middle linebacker and a couple other players.
The defense of New England played a huge role in winning it all. In fact the defense stopped Seattle at the 1 with an interception. Yet New England decided to cut both starting corners.
No way does New England win it all this year. Especially considering that they may conceivably lose their first four games.

Miami, Buffalo and the Jets are all on the rise. This is the decline of one of the greatest teams, coach and QB ever. I doubt they win the division for that matter. Four games! Thats not a small hurdle to overcome. Plus all the media hoopla thats going to be surrounding the team. Its too much of a distraction and obstacle to overcome in my opinion.

I agree with what you said bro but here's the thing.
If they can manage somehow to go 2-2 or even 1-3 for those first four games, I think they can honestly make the playoffs still.
My simple reason is this, Brady is going to come back on a serious tear through the remainder of the games very fresh, very focused, and probably ticked off as hell and will want to prove how awesome he is and will perform MVP-like.
Is he a cheater... well yea, duuuuh.. but so is Rodgers if we're really going there based on his own confession of adjusting his balls.

  :|

Two words... Drew Bledsoe...
Two more word... Matt Cassell.

Bellichck's got this.

the Pats are better with Brady but I don't expect him to be 'out' for 4 games anyway ....

Belicheat will find a way to win the AFC East with or without Brady

I think the best way to settle this is for Brady & Roger to fight a duel.

At 3 feet.

With hand grenades!

The sad thing about all this? we've learned cheaters will never lose even when the league
says but we did this, that and the other thing to them!

I think that the Patriots need to be punished and they have been, however I think that the NFL is not handling this very well at all ...

I understand that Goodell and the NFL are V mad about Brady destroying evidence but why don't they also acknowledge that they (the NFL) were given access to all the phones and people that were on the call list of Brady's phone - if there were texts by Brady they could have gotten copies of them from those phones

this is a huge mess

The NFL's record for all of its existence shows they never cared much about football psi until until they could turn it into this nightmare. Anyone see their new protocol? I guess they care now.

One simple post-game psi check followed by a $25,000 fine and league supplied balls for the Pats afterward would have taken care of this during the regular season.

Colt footballs at halftime. 3 out of 4 low on one gauge. What a freakin' joke.

I disagree they haven't been punished!! if you look at this logically the "punishment" is more
of a appeasing than anything else, but because the league can't afford to lose money on the
super bowl last year..New England while guilty of cheating is ill afforded the right to continue
as the representatives of the AFC and as world champions

personally I don't believe that to be fair!! Indianapolis by default won that game Seattle
by stupidity lost their chance at a second world title. but because the league is corrupt
they have proven that cheating to win won't get you kicked out of title contention like
it would in college sports it just enhances their ability to turn the other way and say
I know nothing
