I see a couple talented players who could possibly make the cut.
Terrance Plummer is a player I know of. He is actually really good and could easily crack the starting lineup. Hes better then Perry Riley Ill say that much.

I saw many of them. I counted 17 on your list. Add that to the 10 draft picks & the 80 already on roster means that we should see a lot of players released in the next few days.

So this is the "still available" list....? Did we sign any of them?

I don't get too excited about this UDFA list...if one makes the team and a couple make the PS, we should be happy.

I say that as I think our roster has improved a lot in the past two years, there aren't as many gaping holes to fill.

Sounds like a good pick-up. If he can bounce back from the injury, I could see him sitting for a year or two, and be "the man" down the road.

There seems to be some arm talent with Halliday. Touch pass central.

Seems like more thwn usual.. hopefully a couple pan out- increaing the quality of our depth would be a win. If some of these guys can improve STs even better for their case.

Watched Hallady put up 500+yard against Rutgers. He looked like an NFL prospect that day. Maybe he's going to be a camp arm but it won't surprise me if he sticks and 1 of the three amigos gets cut.

Looks like Halliday was the real deal until he got two bones in his leg snapped. Can't wait to see what he does with his opportunity.

CBS ranks him #505 overall, #26 ILB. It's usually a mistake to get excited about UDFA's.
If 1 or 2 make the roster, it's a good year. Even less likely this year since we have 10 draft picks.

I'd kind of expect him to be a prime candidate for the practice squad, yeah?

That's for sure.

I was really curious about SM's plan to get 10 picks in the draft this year for that reason. How many of those 10 would you guys expect to make the roster this year? I'm guessing maybe five or six at most on the 53 man roster. Too low?

Maybe Scot will just clean house and start fresh with more of this group than we might expect?

Scot has said that his gauge for a successful draft is 50% become productive players. That would be 5... so, no, not too low.

If 50% become productive players, then more than that should make the squad this year. So I say yes, five is too low. Should be at least seven or eight make the 53, or at least the PS.

Maybe you dont know me that well. I use my own eye for talent. Could care less what CBS ranks him.
Ive seen the guy play on Saturdays and he is good. Thats my opinion. I feel he will make the team and possibly start.

I also believe our 7th round pick Reiter can take over at C right away. Not many share the same view. But I am going out on a limb and saying that Reiter will start at Center. I may be wrong come game 1.
