Heres a little poll fer ya to pass some time waiting for the draft.. we've been pretty DEEP at RB thanks in part to shannaclan for the better part of.. well actually we've nearly ALWAYS had a good RB.. before this past year AlMo was second only to AP in rushing yards since joining the league.. many here blame the qb (s) and not the oline (yesbits a can of worms I just opened but PLEASE dont post about your griiif hate or love, THIS aint that kind of party!!) But facts are facts and our beloved Alfred was getting blown up upon touching the ball and well, predictable play calling or not his stock has dropped..
if you know me (and well even if ya dont its pretty obvious) then you know how I voted!!!

Seastrunk got sizzle and Redd played very good as well. I felt we have some very good talent waiting for their oppertunity, I couldn't make an opinion as to how well they pass protected. I say go with what we have, continuity and growing from within is most important right now.

Seastrunk is on the freaking TITANS, fellas. We have Morris, Redd and Chris Thompson right now. And pass protection is a major issue for the last two.
Personally I'll think we'll bring in a reasonably priced veteran at some point AND we might still draft a guy. Let them battle it out in camp and take the best three into the season.

Redd does need to work on his pass protection, but he is a good RB. He will do fine as a replacement for Helu.

I like Redd too. Hopefully he'll make the most of the opportunity!

Yeah I'm cool with the running backs we have, but it wouldn't hurt to bring in a few more guys for camp. My 3 that was available was Shane Vareen, Ridley, and Ray Rice. Vareen went to the Giants so I would take a look at those 2 rbs, who may fit our system better.
This RB draft class is deep, however getting one earlier than 4th would be stupid!

A 3rd down back needs to be:
1) a good blocker &
2) have good hands.
We have 1 on roster. His name is Young.

I like Darrel Young but I don't see how he's a replacement for Roy Helu. He needs to be a running threat as well. Helu rushed for 255 yards last year. Young hasn't rushed for 250 yards
in his career.

, the other RB's can (hopefully)
I'm talking about the role of 3rd down back. If Young fills that role, the other RB's on roster can (hopefully) fill the back-up RB role.
