The Tennessee Titans added firepower to their pass rush Friday morning.
The team agreed to terms on deals with outside linebackers Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported
Morgan's deal earns him $30 million over four years, per Rapoport. Orakpo will receive a $32 million contract over four years, with $13.5 million guaranteed

Wish Orakpo all the best. But that's just crazy money for him.

I'm happy not to be paying him that much. I'm not happy he's getting paid somewhere else.

Yeah I had the same reaction. Does anybody believe Orakpo will play out that contract with the Titans? I just don't see it.
I always liked Rak though. Sucks for him that he had to be here through one of our worst stretches in team history. Good luck to him!

Two seasons in a row, he has torn the same pec... I just can't see that kind of risk! Best of luck, Brian!

Sounds like a win win.. Rak gets his log overdue payday to fade away into the sunset... and its NOT the Redskibs signing the check.
After his pukes comments hes already been dead to me.. so I could care less where he signed. NOT being in the NFC East is good, but is he really feared by anyone anymore?

I'd have been very wary of paying him even half that much!
Still, no ill will from me.

Just wanted to jump in to share this nugget:
OLB Preston Smith ($1.31 million)—The Redskins got eight sacks from Smith in 2015. The Titans got seven sacks from Jurrell Casey, who has a $8.12 million cap number and seven from former Redskin Brian Orakpo, who carries an $8.25 million cap number.
We've got a grown up managing the roster right now, gentlemen.

this franchise has changed direction dramatically - UNBELIEVABLE
another benefit is that we are no longer perceived in such a negative light by the players and coaching staffs of the NFL
fortunately, I don't live in the DC 'area' anymore so I don't have to put up with the mostly trash BS 'reports' that you guys have to

I think Orakpo was a decent player and it is true you want to be able to draft guys like Preston Smith and retain players that you feel confident in re-signing. Orakpo's injury history just did not allow us to make that long term commitment. With that said Brian Orakpo was more stout on the run than Preston Smith was and even though the sacks did not come he did put consistent pressure on the quarterback and often held. We lost a few games this year because of the pathetic play and lack of discipline of a number of the defensive lineman and the linebackers against the RUN.
Good thing is Smith was a rookie and should get better at the run just like Orakpo had throughout the years...but it wasn't like Smith was a clear upgrade at the position.
