Letter to Season Ticket Holders

Either it was a simple mistake or an indication of how the Redskins truly feel about quarterback Robert Griffin III.
In a letter sent to season-ticket holders, the Redskins thanks fans for their support while mentioning the core group of players that are poised to lead the organization back into the winning column. One notable name was left off.
"Head Coach Jay Gruden, new General Manager Scot McCloughan, and Defensive Coordinator Joe Barry will lead a nucleus of Ryan Kerrigan, DeSean Jackson, plus Pro Bowlers Trent Williams and Alfred Morris. The Redskins are poised to rebound next season!" the letter read, via The Washington Post.
Griffin, the Redskins' No. 2 overall pick in 2012, was not included in this group.

this is DC - there's always going to be a lot more 'analysis' about anything to do with the Redskins ...
everyone will feel they have to interpret this in a positive or negative way - it's just not a big deal at all
it's meaningless

I know what you're saying, SJ, about things being over analyzed around here. But seriously... do you think they would have left RGIII off the promo letter after the 2012 season? Even the 2013 season? Robert can't be happy about this story.

Sounds to me like the organization is trying to help RG by not making him the focus of the franchise, of course in doing so they do exactly that. RG every move will be scrutinized in 2015…only one thing will make it go away…winning.
They also sent out questionnaires on a new stadium. I found it comical that they asked if you would like to see the lower bowl seats go up and down? Like they are going to give the fans a reason to do that any time soon…this ownership needs to stop living in/on the past and make their own history.

How many season ticket holders are going to be hyped up to renew by Robert Griffin again? Given the last couple of years not many people are going to opt to spend a thousands renewing tickets for if they are thinking about Griffin.

If that was seriously their intention somebody should be fired.

Agreed. I probably would have focused on the new GM and not mentioned any players.

As I read this letter, it's clear that the team is preparing to fold it's tent. The end is near, folks.
