He wanted out. He's not fond of Mr. Football. He's open to a lateral move. If I were 'Frisco I'd look at him and Rex Ryan as match made in heaven.

Shanahan is receiving head coaching interest this year because of the job he did with an offense that had major issues. He lost all three of his Pro Bowlers for much of the season in center Alex Mack, receiver Josh Gordon and tight end Jordan Cameron.

Still, Shanahan helped the Browns climb to the top of the AFC North after their 24-3 rout of the Bengals. At one point, he had quarterback Brian Hoyer in the top 10, and the offense was ranked No. 14 overall as late as week 11.

Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn would look to hire Shanahan as his offensive coordinator, if Quinn lands a coaching gig.

Agreed. Who lands first, Kyle or Haz?

Shanny's offense was working well until Mack got injured and the running game started to bog down. Kyle bailed on Cleveland because their dysfunction is similar to the RedSkins. Snyder saddled Shanny with Griffin this year he was stuck with Manziel or he fears next year he is going to get stuck with Manziel so he's bailing.
