Congratulations to the (cough cough) winners of the Wild-Card Round. So, here's what we have left:

This week, 8 will play at 1*, 7 @ 2, 6 @ 3, and 5 @ 4.

Rules Recap:
Home field advantage is given by making the visiting team pick first. There will be two deadlines for getting picks in, one for the visitors and one for the home team. This week the visitors' deadline is 12:00 NOON, EST on Thursday. You are picking the winner of each game, and a point total for the entire weekend. Once a visitor has made his picks, he can change his picks as often as he'd like, up until the home team has made their picks. This means that the visitor can still make his picks after the deadline has passed, as long as the home team has not yet made their picks. The home team can not make their picks until the visiting team has done so, or the visiting team's deadline has passed. Once the home team has picked, the visiting team's picks are locked, EVEN IF THE VISITORS' DEADLINE HAS NOT PASSED. The home team's picks don't lock until five minutes before the first game of the weekend (the home team's deadline). The home team's total score prediction can not be an even number difference from the visiting team's total. (Visitors say 121, home team can't say 123. This way, no ties) Whole numbers only.

He's goofing around. He is at home and just locked in the visitor. He can also change his mind. Also, since he has picked one game differently, score is irrelevant.

One other thing. He didn't like me putting up scores like 182.5 in past years because they were not legitimate. We had an amusing back and forth on it. He acknowledged the 1/2 point made ties less likely. I asked if scores like 1 were legitimate (since they aren't). That was what was behind my joking 8 point prediction last week. It was possible for every game to be 2-0.

It seems like the only restriction now is whole numbers and an odd (not even) difference.

PS My "no even difference" policy satisfies the definitive winner conundrum, so the partial point totals issue is moot.

PPS A rules clarification for everyone:
The visitor's deadline is a "soft" deadline. By that I mean that the visitor can still make his picks after the deadline has passed, as long as the home team has not yet made their picks.
