Not much better this week:

Find and click on Nov 25 - C00ley film breakdown

C00ley gives Griff a 6.9 = D+. Griff still has WRs "winning big" immediately yet checks down ad infinitum.

Alf gets a huge 9.7.

Opening deep ball to DJax. Had foot stepped on. If Griff goes to Garcon instead ... TD.

Thank you. I missed it yesterday. So much for the "but he played better" excuses.

it's getting tiring - nobody's 'making excuses' for Griffin and while he played better last Sunday he OBVIOUSLY did not play well ...

Gruden IMO made the right call - this in no way means anything drastic as far as RG3 playing QB for the Redskins is concerned

Griffin is still in my mind the QB that this club will have in the years to come - he obviously needs work but he should be here next year

I'd be very surprised if these guys don't have Griffin in their long term plans

this franchise has a lot of issues to address and while I keep hoping for a quick turnaround that is almost impossible when you consider how big a hole we have to get out of and now we still have a big concern about the most important position on the field - anyone that thinks that we should give up on Griffin or that we will not keep Griffin here is just certifiable and anti Redskins

anyway ... Colt gets to show what he can do and hopefully also they will look at Cousins again
next year I hope we see Griffin being given a shot at playing QB - be interesting to see who the backup is

First, RGIII's QBR was 7.9 against SF vs. 12.9 against TBAY. Both are literally horrendous, but RGIII technically played better against TBAY according to the most accurate QB measuring statistic available.... It's "getting tiring" because you continue to be DEAD WRONG.

He may be here next year (depending on the contract situation), and I 100% want him back, but I don't think the coaching staff is benching him to HELP his lacking confidence..... This is the writing on the wall.

The Redskins have averaged 1.26 points per drive with Griffin under center. With McCoy and Kirk Cousins, both of whom also have had limited time to learn the offense, they have averaged 1.99 points per drive. To put those numbers in perspective, with Cousins/McCoy the Washington offense is similar to that of the Falcons, who are 12th in the league in scoring. With Griffin, they are like the Jaguars, who are 32nd in scoring.

I disagree in that continuing to play him right now would only hurt his confidence worse than it is at this point. IMO, benching him is the only way to help him reset.
