Second Half Of The Schedule

Looking at schedule and the last 7 games I can honestly say 5-2 is possible but more then likely they will go 4-3.
Bucs = Win
49ers = Loss (Could win this one)
Colts - Loss
Rams = Win
Giants = Loss
Eagles = Win
Cowboys = Win
That would put them at 7 - 9 and for me that would be a step in the right direction and maybe making some progress.

I agree with most of your predictions except for the Colts 49ners and Giants. Those are wins also.

Lets quit kidding ourselves. This is the year we win it all. Coach Gruden will get coach of the year as we battle for first place and then the Super Bowl. You'll see.

I just can't bring myself to look at the schedule like this. Just looking at Tampa Bay at home!
Whatever happens the rest of the season it would be awesome to get wins against Philadelphia and some payback v. the Giants.

the only game that 'counts' is the next game ...
apart from that - we should win the last 3

I think the only one that we'll win is Tampa. The Rams are pretty good, especially now that their D-Line has come out of hibernation. There's no way that our O-Line will be able to contain them.
But hey, 4 wins is better than last year.

I agree, but maybe one divisional game is possible. Better than 3 wins...

This is sad to say, but the only winnable games on the remainder of the schedule IMO are the Bucs, Giants, and Rams. And even those games are toss ups. McCown is supposedly starting again, the Giants torched us at home in our first meeting, and the Rams are a lot better than people are giving them credit for.

logic says we should have lost to the 6-1 pukes too - at the time they were a top 3 ranked NFC team
get out of here with what is likely to happen
we are NOT a good team but we have shown that we can win games against 'better' teams

It's the NFL. Any team can beat any team. Unless Jim Haslett is your defensive coordinator.

I thought you might think it was because we used Griffin and would have been better off with McCoy or even Cousins
Haslett did not miss any assignments - Haslett called plays that weren't executed the way they were mean't to
not making excuses for Haslett but it's not his fault the players did not play as well as they can ON EVERY PLAY

True, but he also didn't put any pressure on a rookie QB. The whole game was Cover 2.

Haslett is NOT the ONLY reason that the defense played so well against the pukes or the reason we lost the game against the Vikings
Haslett is like a lot of players and coaches that are on this squad - Gruden and the FO were faced with a situation that they decided they would give these guys a season to show what they could do with the understanding that in a few areas they would not have the players that they needed - this season is still about that and we'll see at the end of the season which coaches and players did their jobs well
I'm not a Haslett fan but he must be doing something right because everyone points to his failures over a length of time
in the NFL, if you're a failure, you do not get to be a DC or a HC for very long
I wonder why he's still working
