Tailgating for the Bucs game

I'm new to the forum. I'm headed to the game on 11/16. This is the first time I will get to go to a home game. I live a long way away so it's hard to make the home games. I have parking passes for the Purple Lot. Is there good tailgating there? And what is the best time to get out there? I want to make the most of this experience. Thanks for any help.
