I want dullass.. we need to knock that team off its high horse!

Analysts, predictions, stats.. blah blah blah!

The only team over .500 they played, they LOST! We wont be an ezception to that rule either way, but they are FAR from unbeatable. Get into Romos head. Stop Murray. Expose that make shift D. And let the Atrain run!! Hopefully Colt to Djax is all day, and Hatcher+Bowen create havoc up front allowing Kerrigan to get home when they dont.

Yes. We DO want Dallas. Bring it on!!!

This game hinges on three things, IMO:

-Limit the mistakes & penalties.
-Stop Murray.
-Morris needs to have a breakout game.

if history tells us anything, the games with the pukes, giants and eagles are not decided in most cases by the 'better' team

we can win this game this week

Not gonna give them a whole lot of credit for beating a team on the decline w a dysfunctional locker room (or was- shipping off one of your best Offensive weapons? ) whom just lost to St Louis w Who at qb??

Seattle might be a good team with out Harvin.. that deal tells me something was going on. He also wasnt used much vs dullass. I gave the puke fans I know props for beating them in Seattle, but im not convinced Ttit is anything special.

You sort of did. You said the only team they played that was over .500, they lost to. When they played Seattle, the Seahawks were over .500.

Regardless, the Redskins are going to beat the Pies on Monday night.

Call me crazy, but I think we shock the world and burst Dallas' bubble this Monday night. Its time for them to be exposed. There's not a more overrated team in the NFL right now.

It was just a clever play on words.. I worded it that way on purpose to exaggerate my point.. What ever the case, they have not beaten a team who is currently over .500

Beating us wont change that, but I think they are looking past a hungry squad who hates to lose, and has the taste of blood. The titans were the perfect stepping stone to build confidence and get the squad fired up to take Dullass DOWN!

just some stats from CBS ...

Defensively - Total Defense we are ranked 6th and they are ranked 14th
3rd down defense we are 15th and they are 16th

Offensively - Total Offense we are ranked 5th and they are ranked 3rd
3rd down offense we are ranked 31st and they are 1st

even though this game is in pukeville, I think we win

Their defense really isn't good, but they do a good job keeping them off the field. If you want to look at a stat to compare these two teams look at third down efficiency:

Dallas 58% - first in the NFL
Washington 32% - thirty-first in the NFL

That's a killer.

our 3rd down issues are partly due to the fact that we have not gotten the yards from Morris or from the run game we should be getting - not sure this is due to the line but that is a factor - Morris has not seemed to be the same as he was the last 2 years either and those yards were gained behind some of the O line guys we have now

to be successful on offense you need to be able to run the ball - especially when the defense knows you're going to run it

If we can get Morris to be effective against the pukes we do 2 things we keep their offense off the field and we score more

ALSO

I'm hoping we are effective on 3rd down this Monday - BOTH on offense and defense

I just heard a report that Gruden has not ruled out using Griffin in this game ...

that's exciting and troubling, if it's true

No doubt about it, man. Totally agree. Too many 1 yd or no gain runs on first down that end up putting them in third and long.

Ironically, during their last game they had a stat up that showed the Redskins are ( i think ) #1 in the league on yards gained per first down yet 31st on 3rd down. It was such an odd stat.

Interesting. I wonder if he's looked better in practice this week than expected?

Why troubling though? Because you're worried about him coming back too soon?

Just a thought, but do you guys think Skins fans are a little hypersensitive about this stuff with Griffin? When Jordan Reed returned last week, for example, nobody was wringing their hands over whether or not he was fully healthy or whether he had practiced enough to play. Or look at Calvin Johnson with the Lions who has been out a couple games and trying to practice with a badly sprained ankle. If he can play this weekend, most likely he'll be at 80% or whatever and running on the ankle certainly isn't going to help it heal any faster.

I understand WHY we have this issue with Griffin, but I'm just not sure that the dislocated ankle situation is directly comparable to the knee last year. He went through and entire offseason and training camp practicing at full speed which was not the case in 2013.

Anyway, just a thought, not making a case for or against starting him.

Weird! Is that true? So are we crapping the bed on second downs or something???
